Top class courts and showers that actually match them. Good availability which matters when you want to play regularly without planning days in advance. Decent pint afterwards, Italo's coffees are exceptional and his bacon baps apparently cook to perfection. Ed's pizza beats Domino's according to people who know. My favourite spot in Cheltenham, full stop.

Pros

One of my favourites to play at. High roof so lobs are a proper shot, courts play well. Outdoor courts are really good on a decent day.

Cons

The indoor courts become a greenhouse above about 20 degrees, poor ventilation and no air con on court even though reception has it. Book outdoor in summer, indoor in winter and you will be fine.

Pros

The most beautiful club I have played at, and I have played a few. Court surfaces are great, service and facilities top-notch throughout. Italo coaches here and he is super friendly, helpful and genuinely attentive on court. Will be back without question.

Cons

Lighting has a touch of glare which you notice mid-rally but it does not ruin anything.

Came as a family, kids included, and everyone had a great time. Two hours free parking and you can register your vehicle if you plan to stay longer, which we did. Free racket hire, loads of courts, good choice of food and drinks after. The kind of place that works as a full day out rather than just a sports session. Was absolutely knackered afterwards, which means we did it right.

I work remotely from here most weeks. Wi-Fi is reliable, the café area is comfortable, and Laura, Emily, Ed, Millie, Owen and Italo make you feel like a regular from the first visit. Millie makes the best flat white I have found in Cheltenham. Attentive without hovering. The kind of place that works whether you are playing padel or just opening a laptop.

Attended a beginners tournament, well organised and genuinely fun. Super friendly staff, clean facilities throughout. Free rental rackets and balls on site so nothing to bring. Parking is limited so worth arriving with time to spare. Remember to enter your reg at the desk. Indoor court ran a bit cold when we were sitting out between points, worth layering up.
