Read the articleIn 2011, after completing his degree in Business Administration, Pim van Zuilekom travelled to Valencia to play a season of hockey for Valencia CH’s first team. During that year, whilst setting up a sports travel agency, he was introduced to padel. He was immediately intrigued and, after playing a few times, was completely hooked. In 2015, Pim took the initiative to bring padel to Rotterdam, in collaboration with Victoria in Kralingen. Following a successful crowdfunding campaign, Padelclub Victoria opened its doors in 2016 with three padel courts, becoming one of the first padel clubs in the Netherlands. This marked the first step towards a further increase in the number of padel courts in the Rijnmond region.
