Best for advanced constructive players who value control
Advanced and professional players with a constructive, defensive game who value control, a large sweet spot and quick hands over finishing power. It suits players who spend much of the point at the back, and players who want the Vertex construction in a more forgiving shape. It is not designed for beginners, and it is not the right choice for players who want to finish points overhead; those players should look at the standard Vertex 05 or the Vertex 05 Geo. Players with elbow problems should test it first, as the face gives a fairly firm response.

Overview of the Bullpadel Vertex 05 Hybrid 2027
The Bullpadel Vertex 05 Hybrid 2027 is the control-oriented member of the Vertex family, sitting below the standard Vertex 05 and the attacking Vertex 05 Geo. It uses a hybrid shape that plays close to a round racket, a 25 cm balance, an X-Tend Carbon 12K face and a MultiEVA core, with the Vertex Core⁵ heart and Curv:aktiv frame shared with the rest of the range. Bullpadel describes it as the most control-oriented model in the Vertex 05 range. The result is a precise, easy-to-handle racket for players who build points and defend with confidence.
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Precise control in defense and at the net.
- Large, forgiving sweet spot.
- Quick and easy to maneuver.
- Deep, stable bandeja.
- Tolerates late contact.
Cons
- Limited smash power.
- Volleys need a firm wrist to finish.
- Firm face may not suit sensitive elbows.
Technologies & Materials
- Vertex Core⁵ — the fifth-generation Vertex heart with a triangular layout that limits twisting and bending; the reinforced lower section adds firmness;
- Curv:aktiv — a variable-section frame with side faces rotated 31.6°, adding rigidity and reactivity. Bullpadel states that, combined with Air Power, it reduces drag by up to 23 %;
- Air Power — the second generation of the Air React Channel, with the lower channel enlarged by 50 % to reduce drag and raise swing speed;
- Carbon Tube — a frame made of 100 % bidirectional woven carbon;
- X-Tend Carbon 12K — biaxially woven carbon with 12,000 filaments, tuned for an intermediate hardness that balances power and control;
- MultiEVA — an EVA core built from foams of different densities: denser material for power, softer material for comfort and vibration reduction;
- Top Spin — a sandblasted outer layer on the face that increases spin on slices, volleys, lobs and smashes;
- Ease Vibe — spring-shaped dampers in four holes. Bullpadel states they absorb up to 49 % of vibration, and moving them adjusts feel and balance;
- Vibradrive — an elastomer along the handle that absorbs vibration, especially on off-center hits;
- Hesacore — a honeycomb-pattern elastomer grip that dampens vibration and reduces hand strain;
- Custom Weight — up to four 3 g resin-finished carbon plates (12 g in total) placed in key areas to tune balance and weight.
What Makes the Bullpadel Vertex 05 Hybrid 2027 Special
The Vertex 05 Hybrid combines the stiff Vertex structure with a low balance and a forgiving shape. Vertex Core⁵ and Curv:aktiv keep the face stable on impact, while the hybrid outline and 531 cm² face spread the sweet spot across the center. The low balance makes the head quick and easy to position, and the 12K carbon face with MultiEVA gives a response that is firm but tolerant of late contact.

How it Feels on the Court
Defense
The racket's strongest zone. The low, ready head helps with patient construction from the back, and lobs, chiquitas and balls off the glass are easy to place.
Note
The face tolerates late contact, which keeps difficult defensive balls in play.
Net Play
Volleys are precise and quick to position, and the racket is easy to maneuver in fast exchanges.
Important
To finish a volley, the player needs a firm wrist, as the frame adds little extra pace.
Bandeja & Víbora
The bandeja is deep and manageable, and the frame stays stable at full extension. On the víbora, the sandblasted Top Spin finish grips slower balls, and spin works well when the wrist does its part.
Smash
The weak point. Power is limited, so the smash needs a long swing and full leg drive.
Advice
Adding Custom Weight plates toward the head gives a little more punch for players who want it.
Maneuverability
Very good. The low balance makes the racket quick to move in every phase of the point.
Forgiveness
High. The hybrid shape and large face keep slightly off-center hits playable and maintain their pace.
Comfort
The touch is medium, with a firm but controlled response. Ease Vibe, Vibradrive and Hesacore filter vibration well.
Conclusion
The Vertex 05 Hybrid 2027 is the control specialist of the Vertex family. It gives an advanced player precise defense, a forgiving sweet spot, quick handling and a stable bandeja. The cost is limited power on the smash and on finishing volleys. It fits patient, constructive players; those who want to win points overhead will be better served by the standard Vertex 05 or the Geo.
