The Inclusive Padel Tour is launching a UK series, starting September 26 at Barrio Padel in Nottingham, with events planned across the North, Midlands, South East, South West and potentially Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. The format pairs disabled players with able-bodied partners, giving adaptive players two bounces per point
The series is led by Andrew Simister, who lost his right leg above the knee in a 2022 road accident, discovered padel during rehabilitation in 2023, and became the first British amputee to represent Great Britain on the international Inclusive Padel Tour.
