A temporary padel court has been installed at the foot of the Eiffel Tower and will stay in place until 14 September. The 4PADEL Gustave court sits on the quai du port de Suffren, facing the Seine, and has been open since 25 May.
The court is open to the public every day from 9 a.m. to 11.30 p.m. by reservation, at a cost of €30 per person for an hour and a half. It is aimed at both regular players and newcomers, with the tower itself directly overhead.
This is the third year the installation has appeared in Paris, and the longest run so far. It was first built in 2024 for the finals of the Betclic Remontada Padel and stood for only a few days. In 2025 it remained for two months. This year 4PADEL and river operator Vedettes de Paris have extended it across almost the entire summer season.
The court again hosted the Betclic Remontada Padel finals, one of the largest amateur competitions in France, from 5 to 7 June, with qualifiers held at 4PADEL clubs around the country. That weekend also included exhibition matches featuring professional players, content creators and other sports figures.
The project forms part of a wider effort by Vedettes de Paris to develop sporting, cultural and tourist activity along the riverbanks.
