Padel NL

337 online — the busiest one

The Russian-speaking padel community of the Netherlands: arranging games, looking for a fourth, comparing courts and clubs. The chat is nationwide, but most of the play happens in and around Amsterdam.

[PADELZOOM] Grupo Oficial

125 online

A Spanish-speaking chat about rackets and gear: what to buy, how the models differ, where it is cheaper. Not a place to find a partner — it is worldwide and not about Amsterdam — but useful before buying a racket.

Great padel courts, a lovely club. Loads of other things to do in the same building – I had a great time bowling too. The food was really tasty and the service was top-notch.

A friendly club; the staff are always friendly. It’s cosy inside, and even nicer outside in the summer. Everything’s tidy, and the changing rooms and toilets are in good order. After a game, pop into the bar for a while – the service is good and the atmosphere is lovely.

Pros

I mainly come here because the courts are readily available. Booking is quick and straightforward. It is a bit pricey for what you get, though.

Cons

Court hire is on the expensive side.

A beautifully maintained club, with an enthusiastic chairman and active committees. Nine tennis courts and three padel courts; plenty of activities are organised, including for young people. A club with a friendly atmosphere where a sense of community is paramount.

Pros

I’ve been playing here for a while now, both indoors and outdoors. The ceilings indoors are incredibly high; the ball never gets stuck. Outdoors, there’s lovely sunshine; indoors, it’s a bit quieter and darker, but still pleasant enough. The surface of the courts isn’t always great; sometimes it feels a bit rough. Otherwise, it’s a lovely place to play.

Cons

The surface of the courts isn’t always in good condition.
