A lovely, centrally located venue. You don’t need to be a member to play, although membership does have its advantages. You can hire rackets there; they’re good quality.

It has a slightly upmarket feel at times, but it’s worth it. Clean and safe changing rooms. The prices are reasonable – nothing excessive given the location. The best choice for a summer game of padel; the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly.

Pros

There are eight courses, all of which are of a high standard – you notice that straight away when you play. It’s lovely to play outdoors when the weather’s good. But watch out for windy days – the ball does whatever it likes then.

Cons

Windy days disrupt outdoor play.

I played on one of the courses. I liked the feel of it straight away. The lighting is really good; you can see clearly even in the corners. The courses felt lovely and well-maintained. The facilities were of a high standard throughout.

A brilliant sports hall – simple and a bit basic, but that doesn’t matter. Good prices, great atmosphere. There’s a café, changing rooms and showers. They also have badminton, tennis, table tennis and squash – everything you need for a fun session of racket sports.

A really lovely venue. The staff organise brilliant obstacle courses – it’s great fun. There’s a small café where you can buy drinks; it’s lovely to sit down for a bit afterwards.
