TV Alkemade

TV Alkemade was founded on 14 June 1964, initially with three clay courts; a fourth clay court, a fifth (the current centre court) and a sixth were added later. The sixth clay court no longer exists, and in its place – along with the former court 6 and the former second court of SV Alkmania – four smash courts and a mini-court have been added. The practice wall, which originally stood behind the clubhouse, has been moved to the corner near the mini-court. The club’s 25th anniversary in 1989 was celebrated in style.
