Gardens by the Bay in Singapore has opened two free padel courts beneath its iconic Supertrees, marking the first event of its kind in the country. Running from September 19 to October 11, the glass-walled courts are open daily from 8am to 10pm, with court time free of charge — players only pay for racket and ball rental
The pop-up is presented by UBS as the newest stop on its regional Padel Series, bringing the sport into one of Singapore's most recognizable public spaces rather than a private club. The International Padel Federation estimates the sport now has more than 38 million players across over 170 countries
