Bucharest is hosting the first FIP Gold-level tournament in Romanian padel history, after previous events in the country, held in Timișoara, stayed at Silver level. The tournament runs from 10 to 14 September across 12 courts, with 150 FIP Ranking points on offer for the champions.
Top seeds include David Gala and Enzo Jensen, fresh off a first-round appearance at the Paris Major at Roland Garros, and Lucia Martinez, paired with Manquillo after winning FIP Gold San Luis in June. For Romanian players, a Gold-level event on home soil is a rare chance to test themselves against FIP Tour regulars.
