I went to play padel with a friend this weekend and the staff at reception were brilliant. The facilities are brand new – you can really tell. In the summer, you can have a dip in the pool after your match – it’s a real treat. Then there’s a bar where you can hang out for a while.

Pros

Good value for money, ten indoor courts. The changing rooms are outside the grounds, which is a bit inconvenient. They should put some lighting in the car park and along the access road.

Pros

High ceilings, new and well-maintained courts – it’s a comfortable place to play. The problem is that it’s like a greenhouse: it doesn’t ventilate, and the windows get misted up. With the humidity, the ball bounces differently; you really notice it when you’re playing.
