Blue Padel Rivas

I’ve been taking lessons for a while now and you can really tell how approachable the coaches are. The indoor courts make it much easier to train when the weather’s bad. I played in a tournament a few weeks ago – it was quite well organised, although when it’s hot it’s better to hold them earlier in the day.

Llevo un tiempo dando clases y se nota la cercanía de los profesores. Las pistas cubiertas facilitan mucho entrenar en época de mal tiempo. Jugué en un torneo hace unas semanas, bastante bien organizado, aunque en fechas de calor mejor hacerlos más pronto.

I went for the padel, but I stayed for the people. Everyone – from the padel staff, coaches and management to the bar staff – is brilliant; the service is always top-notch. The bar area is a lovely place to have a drink or a bite to eat, and the barbecue isn’t half bad either.

Fui por el pádel, me quedé por la gente. Tanto el personal de pádel, profesores y coordinación, como el del bar, son increíbles, siempre un trato de 10. La zona de bar es agradable para tomar algo o comer, y la barbacoa no está mal.

The indoor courts are very good; the outdoor ones are rather less comfortable. It gets very hot under the marquee – it turns into a bit of a sauna. Good lighting overall.

Pistas interiores muy buenas, las exteriores bastante más incómodas. Con la carpa hace mucho calor, se convierte en un poco cocedero. Buena iluminación en general.
