The courts are well maintained; it’s a pleasure to play on them. The problem is the roof – it’s not very well insulated – and as soon as the heat kicks in, it turns into an oven. There’s air conditioning in the changing rooms and reception, which is a real relief. On court, though, you sweat like never before, and it’s hard to perform at your best. Even so, I’ll be back – the playing conditions themselves are good.

The heat inside the courts is unbearable in summer.

Las pistas están bien cuidadas, se juega a gusto. El problema es el tejado, poco aislado, y en cuanto aprieta el calor aquello es un horno. En vestuarios y recepción hay aire y se agradece un montón. Dentro de pista se suda de otra manera, cuesta rendir. Aun así vuelvo, las condiciones de juego en sí son buenas.

El calor dentro de las pistas es insufrible en verano.

A welcoming atmosphere – the sort you notice the moment you walk in. The staff are very friendly and genuinely look after you. After a game, the bar is a great place to have a drink with the group. The changing rooms have hot water, a touch that isn’t always taken care of.

Ambiente cercano, de esos que se nota nada más entrar. El trato del personal es muy amable, se preocupan de verdad. Después de jugar el bar está bien para tomarse algo con el grupo. Vestuarios con agua caliente, detalle que no siempre se cuida.

Easy booking system; there are still slots available until 9 pm. On-site car park, which is much appreciated. Medium-to-high prices, in line with other clubs in the area. They run their own 1.5-hour leagues and have good coaches if you want to improve your game.

Sistema de reservas fácil, hasta a las 9 de la noche hay hueco. Parking en el recinto, se agradece. Precio medio-alto, en línea con otros clubs de la zona. Hay ligas propias de 1,5h y profesores buenos si quieres mejorar.
