The atmosphere is fun and wholesome; you can tell the whole family gets involved. Between the tournaments, the rankings and the lessons, there are loads of ways to get involved. I took lessons with Vicente and I’d definitely recommend him. You get tokens for the lessons that you can use on the courts or in tournaments – a nice touch.

The car parks are good – much appreciated. The café has a good selection and convenient opening hours; during the week you can have a drink from 11 am right through to after-match drinks, with special offers on draught beer. The staff are always friendly. For after-match drinks, they set up the barbecue; you bring your own food and drink from the venue, and they even pass round plates, glasses and cutlery.

An enclosed, safe venue, ideal if you’re visiting with children. There are several pitches available for playing on.

A cut above the rest when it comes to padel clubs. The scenery is beautiful and it’s a pleasure to play there. There’s a good variety of courts – both with and without sand – and the feel of the game changes quite a lot depending on which one you’re assigned.

It’s a great place to go with the family; it has artificial grass and armchairs on the terrace where you can relax between matches. There’s something going on every day – for men, women or mixed groups. At Toffee, there’s always something tasty to eat and drink.
