Best for advanced attackers who build their aerial game
Advanced and professional attacking players who want to develop their aerial game and already handle head-heavy rackets comfortably. It suits players who want more power than the standard Vertex 05 while keeping a wide face and precise placement. It is not designed for beginners or intermediate players, for players who rely on quick hands in defense, or for anyone with elbow problems. Players coming from light, even-balanced rackets will need time to adapt; the standard Vertex 05 offers a more controlled alternative.

Overview of the Bullpadel Vertex 05 Geo 2027
The Bullpadel Vertex 05 Geo 2027 is the racket of Pablo Cardona and the most aggressive model in the Vertex family. Compared with the standard Vertex 05, it uses a wider geometric head with a 541 cm² face, a firmer X-Tend Carbon 3K surface instead of 12K and a slightly higher balance of about 26 cm. Bullpadel describes its style as offensive and versatile. The 2027 version keeps the shape, weight, balance and materials of the 2026 Geo, with a medium-hard touch. The result is a powerful, stable attacking racket with a forgiving face for its shape.
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Strong attacking power with precise placement.
- Wide face that extends the sweet spot toward the upper corners.
- Stable frame at full extension.
- Fast, direct flat smash.
- Good víbora spin with the Top Spin finish.
Cons
- Head weight makes defense demanding.
- Por tres smash is harder to execute than the flat one.
- Firm feel transmits vibration to the arm.
- Needs experience with head-heavy rackets.
Technologies & Materials
- Vertex Core⁵ — the fifth-generation Vertex heart with a triangular geometry that limits torsional and bending deformation; the lower section is reinforced for more mass and firmness;
- Geometric Shape — a frame widened toward the 2 and 10 o'clock positions to enlarge the sweet spot;
- Curv:aktiv — a variable-section frame with side faces rotated 31.6°. Bullpadel states that, combined with Air Power, it reduces drag by up to 23 %;
- Air Power — the second generation of the Air React Channel, with the lower channel enlarged by 50 % to reduce drag and raise swing speed;
- X-Tend Carbon 3K — carbon with 3,000 filaments per strand, giving a firm feel and a uniform laminate;
- MultiEVA — an EVA core built from foams of different densities: the denser material drives power, while the softer material adds comfort and reduces vibration;
- Top Spin — a sandblasted outer layer on the face that increases grip for spin on every type of shot;
- Ease Vibe — spring-shaped dampers in four holes. Bullpadel states they absorb up to 49 % of impact vibration, and moving them adjusts feel and balance;
- Vibradrive — a high-elasticity elastomer along the handle that damps vibration on off-center hits;
- Hesacore — a honeycomb-pattern elastomer grip that filters vibration and reduces strain on the hand;
- Custom Weight — up to three 3 g resin-finished carbon plates in the upper frame (9 g in total) to adjust balance and weight.
What Makes the Bullpadel Vertex 05 Geo 2027 Special
The Geo combines a geometric head with a stiff, stable structure. Geometric Shape widens the frame at the upper corners, so the sweet spot extends toward the areas where overheads are struck, while the 26 cm balance adds weight to every attacking swing. Vertex Core⁵ and Curv:aktiv keep the face from twisting, and the 3K carbon gives a firmer, more direct response than the 12K face of the standard Vertex 05.

How it Feels on the Court
Defense
The wide face covers some late preparation, and compact swings keep the ball under control from the back.
Important
The head weight is the limiting factor: fast balls off the glass need early anticipation, and players not used to this kind of balance will find defense demanding.
Net Play
Once in motion, the head feels quick in fast net exchanges, and volleys go where they are aimed. The firm face keeps blocks stable and lets the player place the ball with precision.
Bandeja & Víbora
The frame resists twisting at full extension, so the bandeja keeps a consistent depth and puts real pressure on the opponent. On the víbora, the Top Spin finish bites when the wrist snaps through the ball.
Smash
Flat smashes leave the face fast and direct, with little trampoline effect.
Advice
The head weight makes pronation harder, so the flat smash comes more naturally than the por tres.
Maneuverability
Moderate. The racket moves well in quick volleys, but the head weight is clearly felt on overheads and in defense, and it takes experience with head-heavy frames to move it easily.
Forgiveness
Good for an attacking shape, though the sweet spot sits high and rewards clean technique. The widened upper frame keeps off-center contact useful: blocks keep their depth and chiquitas stay on target.
Comfort
The touch is firm, and vibration reaches the arm on hard strikes.
Note
Ease Vibe, Vibradrive and Hesacore help, but players with elbow sensitivity should approach this racket with caution.
Conclusion
The Vertex 05 Geo 2027 adds power and firmness to the Vertex formula without giving up its forgiving face. It gives an advanced attacker a stable, precise overhead, a strong bandeja and víbora, and margin on off-center contact. The cost is a head weight that makes defense and the por tres harder, and a firm feel that loads the arm. It fits experienced attacking players; those who want more control and easier handling should stay with the standard Vertex 05.
