Nike takes first step into padel with three new racket designs

Nike appears to be preparing a bigger move into padel, with three new racket designs recently presented at NOCTA Manor 2026. The Command, Attack and Balance offer a first look at what could become Nike’s own padel racket collection.

The three models were shown during the event organised by Nike’s NOCTA label. While Nike has not officially announced a commercial launch, their appearance suggests that the brand could be expanding beyond its existing padel footwear and apparel

Three models, three different designs

The Command stands out with an asymmetric design around the throat, an unusual perforation pattern and a textured face. The Attack takes a more aggressive approach, with an angular shape and dense hole pattern that suggest a focus on attacking play

The Balance has a more traditional round shape, with a textured surface and indications of 12K carbon. However, Nike has not published complete technical specifications for any of the three models

What do we know about the launch?

There are still no confirmed details on the rackets’ retail prices, weights, balance points, core materials or release date. It is also unclear whether the models shown at NOCTA Manor are final production versions or prototypes

Nike already has a presence in padel through footwear and apparel, while the sport continues to expand into new markets. A racket collection would give the brand a direct presence in one of the sport’s key equipment categories

What about Agustín Tapia?

The appearance of Agustín Tapia at NOCTA Manor has also fuelled speculation about a possible Nike partnership. The Argentine remains under contract with NOX, with his current agreement reportedly running until the end of 2028, and no partnership with Nike has been confirmed

Nike’s next move

For now, the Command, Attack and Balance provide an early look at Nike’s possible plans for padel. Whether these designs will reach the market, and when, remains to be confirmed

The moment was captured in a post on Instagram.
