Leon Ortega Ibáñez and Javier Mora Cuart won the U18 boys title at FIP Promises Palma de Mallorca II without dropping a single set, beating Toni Villena and Filip Sterner 6-4, 7-6 in the final. Along the way they knocked out the tournament's top seeds, Andrés Pablo Ortuño De Pablo and Martín Araguete Sales, 6-4, 6-2 in the semi-finals
In the girls' draw, María Martínez Pérez and Marta Suñer Mas claimed the U18 title with a 6-2, 6-3 win over Vega Cano Ortín and Celia Martín. The event was one of four NextGen tournaments held simultaneously around the world this month, alongside stops in Middelkerke, Curitiba and Egypt
