Alvaro Quintana
Alvaro Quintana started playing tennis at the age of five in Spain and fell in love with the sport right away. His competitive mindset and drive to improve led him to become one of the top 15 players in his age group in Spain. This success earned him an athletic scholarship at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where he played Division I tennis for four years. His team was ranked #75 in the country, and he gained some of the best experiences of his athletic career thanks to his teammates and coaches.
As Padel grew in Spain, many of Quintana’s friends transitioned from tennis to Padel, leading him to start playing in 2019. He quickly fell in love with the game and began competing in high-level tournaments against some of the best players in Spain.
Now fully dedicated to Padel, Coach Quintana is on a mission to expand its presence in the U.S., using his experience in both sports and business to help the game grow and thrive.
